Mhairi Grealis is a professional director and playwright , who has had over 15 years experience in the
creative learning sector,
including her time as the Course Director for the Richmond Theatre and as a research fellow into the power of
creativity in education for the University of the Arts London.
She has lead drama projects for young people and
adults in venues such as the Tricycle Theatre and the Trafalgar Studios in the West End.
In her life as an artist, her last play toured England and came into the West End and was an
Exeunt Magazine pick of the year.
She trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in directing
Shakespeare, and has delivered theatre projects internationally
In the community, Mhairi is also a proud founder member of Streatham WI, is an organising force behind the
Streatham Funpalace, and helps out at the Streatham Film Festival. She worked pro-bono for Music 4 Children at
the White Lion for two years, where she authored child protection policy and managed free arts workshops.
She is delighted to be working with St Margaret the Queen church, and is in talks for an exciting creative project with the venue.
